Dear Participants,
After two years of preparation, the 8th World Congress of Bioethics finally successfully took place in this August in Beijing. we hope that all of you have enjoyed the congress as well as your staying in Beijing, China, especially those who visited China for the first time.
After the congress, we have received many prompt feedbacks and compliments on the scientific programs and meeting organization of this congress. On behalf of Prof. Qiu as well as other professors in the Congress Committee, I would like to express our sincere thanks for all the comments you have given us and wish there will be opportunity to do our work even better.
As required by many participants, the congress secretariat is now providing the complete list of the participants to both FAB and IAB congresses in Beijing. Due to the different languages we used for the overseas and domestic participants, we cannot provide you a list of the participants from mainland China.
The list has been sent to the email address we have collected early today, and if you fail to receive it, please contact me.
The most significant highlight of this congress is that it accommodated a wide range of academic topics within 4 days. However, many participants had to, regretfully, missed many overlapped sessions due to the tight schedule. To make up what they have missed during the congress, Prof. Qiu as well as many other participants required the secretariat to make the presentations available online after the congress. It took us some time to ask for permission from every presenters (thought still we haven’t received permission from many presenters), I apologize for delaying in uploading the files collected by the secretariat. The files will be posted for 2 weeks only and during this period, if any presenter has objection in uploading his/her presentation, please let me know ASAP so I can delete the file from the folder.
