We are delighted to advise you that the scientific committee has now finished reviewing all submitted abstracts. All abstract submitters should have received emails sent by the congress web system confirming the acceptance status and presentation details of their abstracts. If you have not received such an email, please log on your account at the congress website and check the status of your abstracts. When doing so, please make sure you use the same user name (E-mail address) and password as which you used for submitting abstracts.

Accepted abstracts may be arranged as one of the following six types of presentation: Moderated Poster (MP), Basic Research moderated poster (BR), Free Poster (FP, unmoderated poster), Video Presentation (V), Video Poster in Video Library (PVL) and Video presentation in Video Library (VVL). For each type of presentation, authors are requested to prepare and submit various materials before October 31, 2008. Please read and follow the Instructions for Authors carefully and submit your materials to the secretariat before the deadline.

In particular, if you will use Microsoft PowerPoint slides for your presentation, it is required that you use the congress template to prepare your slides. The template can be downloaded at: http://www.chinamed.com.cn/wce2008

We feel very sorry, that due to the technological problems, you may have received our Scientific Confirmation with incorrect information on presentation type, time, etc. To avoid future confusions, we kindly request you to always refer to the following online confirmation as your final submitted paper(s) acceptance status. Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Endourological Society, we are pleased to invite you to the 26th World Congress of Endourology (WCE) from November 30-December 3, 2008 in the city of Shanghai. This Congress is being organized by the Chinese Urological Association (CUA) in association with Chinese Medical Association, under the auspices of the Endourological Society.

The scientific program, which has been designed to encourage discussion as well as opportunities to interact with speakers, will cover a wide array of topics on Endourology, including the latest advances in basic science, clinical prevention and treatment of endourological diseases, as well as hands-on courses, and live case transmission. The Congress will be an excellent opportunity for scientific and cultural exchange.

The invited speakers will include a number of eminent endourologists both from overseas and mainland China. They will share their expertise and research experience on many hot topics in the field of endourology with all attendants.

To top it off, Shanghai, the congress venue and business center of China, has an abundance of modern architectures and tourist attractions-an excellent atmosphere for 26th World Congress of Endourology.
